GDP buoy track display
On NODASS, you can view the Global Drifter Program buoys' location and trajectory on the geography map by clicking on the buoys.
Dynamic display of AIS vessels
The automatic identification system provides a dynamic display function of vessels distribution and track, allowing users to select specific ships by category. Clicking on the target ship can display the ship track for more than 7 days. NODASS displays AIS data after quality control.
Ocean model dynamic display
The NODASS system currently includes domestic and international oceanographic and weather models such as wind, wave, current, sea temperature, sea level height, salinity, and water quality, from HYCOM, OCM, and CMEMS etc. Different ocean models can be switched at any time, and can be viewed dynamically on a timeline with a calendar. For some models available in depth, the depth display bar can be adjusted to view water profiles.
